Plotuw8 is a simple and easy to use plotting application: record your weight every day, every week, or on any day you fancy, and Plotuw8 will instantly update a graph, automatically adjusting axis and scales to display all records. You can create one graph for each member of the family... Or you can plot any other dated data: a temperature, the price of your favourite stocks,... Plotuw8 allows to zoom in on a particular time zone, or to delete records between two dates... One can instantly create a new graph,... Content. The plotuw8.zip file contains the following: - plotuw8.wrd is this documentation under Psion word format - readme.txt is the same under text format - plotuw8.opa is the application file - plotuw8.rsc is a help file - sample.plo is an example Installation. To install Plotuw8: - copy plotuw8.opa to any \app\ directory - copy plotuw8.rsc and sample.plo to any \opd\ directory. Install the application like any other Psion application, by pressing in the system screen... Operation Plotuw8 can be started like any other standard Psion application: highlight a graph name under the Plotuw8 icon and press enter, or create a new graph by pressing while the cursor is under the Plotuw8 icon. Press for help, or any other key to open the menu: - to open an existing graph - to create a new graph - to create one or more new record in the displayed graph: key in the value and the date in the dialog window. Then press (for new records) or (after the last record). - to zoom in on a particular zone: a vertical grey line appears at the center of the screen (adjust contrast if necessary). The selection process is the same as in standard Psion applications. Move the line with the left and right arrows (plus for speed, or to reach the screen border). Anchor the line and open a grey selection window by pressing and one arrow (plus for speed). A special information window in the upper left part of the screen shows the limit dates of the selection. Press when selection is done. - to delete all records between two dates. The selection process is the same as described above. - to spot and update or delete one particular record. A grey square appears at the center of the screen (adjust contrast if necessary). Move it with arrows (plus or for speed) until you place a point of the graph exactly at its center, and press . If you have not missed the point, a window will open. You can then update the record (and press key ) or delete it (by pressing ). - and also operate in Zoom mode. - Press for the help menu. To delete a graph: exit the Plotuw8 programme by pressing , highlight the name of the file under the icon in the system screen, and press . Then confirm with . Registration. Plotuw8 is Shareware. You can use it freely during 14 days. After this period, if you find it useful, please register. Otherwise remove it from your computer. Registration fee is US$14.95. You can register via SWREG (GO SWREG. Registration ID: 10551). Non registered version allows to plot 12 points only on one graph (although an indefinite number can be recorded).
